Welcome to Holly Lodge

At Holly Lodge, we strive for excellence in everything we do and have a clear vision of what we are here to achieve. Our young people are well cared for and every effort is made to promote their educational and personal development.

We also strive to develop young men and women with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical.

Mission Statement

The mission of Holly Lodge Science College is to provide each student a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. The Holly Lodge Science College team joins the parents and community to assist the students in developing skills to become independent and self-sufficient adults who will succeed and contribute responsibly in a global community.

Holly Lodge offers students a secure and purposeful environment in which every individual is valued and provides them with a wealth of curricular and extra-curricular opportunities. Students enjoy school, feel safe and are well prepared for the next stages of their education or employment.

Drop in Day

You are invited to attend our Drop-in Consultation Event regarding West Smethwick Park on:

Thursday 16th Feb from 3.30pm to 6pm, Holly Lodge School

Sandwell Council has secured Heritage Lottery Funding towards the £5.1m restoration of West Smethwick Park, subject to a successful Round 2 funding bid to be submitted in 2017. The project involves restoration of the Park’s historic features, new recreational facilities and nature conservation improvements and the building of a major new community pavilion.

We will be finishing the programme of consultation that has taken place during the development of the proposals. Members of the project team will be on hand to talk through the proposals and answer any questions.

We are particularly interested in hearing what local people wish to see by way of events and activities in the Park and new Community Pavilion building.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to other groups and individuals who might be interested in attending.

If you need any further information about this project or the consultation event, please contact Rupert Dugdale at Community First Partnership on 07552 733175 or
